Building site drilling machine FG2A

The drilling machine FG2A is designed to make holes for anchoring on the edges of marble, granite or stone slabs and consists of:

1 supporting structure made of welded steelwork.
1 rollers for moving the slabs with side guides which can be adjusted to suit the different widths of the slabs.
2 chrome plated steel bridges with protection covers carrying the sledges in cast iron with the drilling heads. The bridge sits on two columns and moves vertically to adjust for different drilling location in the vertical direction.
2 drilling heads with hydraulic operated movements, each drilling head can be adjusted on the vertical and horizontal planes.
1 hydraulic station to move the drilling heads.
An operator's workstation sited on the machine body (slabs entrance side) in the in which are addressed the electric board and the controls panel. On the controls panel are arranged the selectors for the drills, the luminous indicators of the working cycle and the red switch for the emergency block of the machine.

The slabs on the rollers are stopped in the correct places by means of two end switches which also align the slab with the drilling heads.
The two drills can operate simultaneously or only one.

Under request there is the possibility of build a special version of the FG2A machine.
This special version is equipped also with a saw unit to create cuttings ot the edges of the slabs after the drilling phase.
This version has higher measure than the simple FG2A machine and the maximum power absorption increase of 2,24 kW.
