Drilling machine FG6C

The hole making machine type FG6C is designed to make holes for the anchoring, (pre-cast holes), on the surface of marble, granite or limestone slabs.
The machine consists of:

1 supporting structure made of welded steelwork.
2 conveyor belts for moving the slabs with side guides which can be automatically adjusted to suit the different widths of the slabs.
2 chrome plated steel bridges with protection covers carrying the sledges in cast iron with the drilling heads. The bridge sits on two columns and moves vertically to adjust for different drilling location in the vertical direction.
6 drilling heads with hydraulic operated movements for adjustments in the vertical or horizontal planes.
1 hydraulic station to move the drilling heads.

The slabs carried by conveyor belts are stopped in the correct place using a PLC. A keyboard sits on the control panel of the machine. When slabs stop, the operator, from the control panel, using a selector, choose wich motor must work.
Holes diameter: from 5 to 16 mm. Max depth of holes: 75 mm, it can be regulated. The machine can work using only one drilling head or different simultaneously.
